Accessibility Statement

The Queens’ May Ball Committee is dedicated to ensuring that this event is able to be enjoyed by as many people as possible. We have put a lot of time and consideration into making sure that all our guests feel seen and heard, and we hope you experience this first hand.

So that you can enjoy the event, please familiarise yourself with the information below:

  1. Flashing lights and loud noises can be expected at all the stages, and therefore can be expected across the whole of the Queens’ grounds.
  2. That said, we have a range of quieter music performances and a more relaxed atmosphere in the Chapel and Cloister Court area.
  3. We also have a dedicated ‘Quiet Space’ in the Erasmus Room with an attendant.
  4. Accessible routes and toilets, plus food and drink allergens are all clearly signposted.
  5. We have a range of vegetarian (V), vegan (Ve) and gluten free (Gf) food available at our food vendors. Where this is an option, we have noted this in our programme with the relevant symbol. We also have a variety of non-alcoholic drinks available.
  6. We have a dedicated committee member for Accessibility who is your Accessibility Contact for the night. For any Accessibility related concerns on the night please visit the quiet space to contact the Accessibility Officer.
